How to read Niu Lai box office: daily totals, admissions and snapshots

A box-office figure needs a time, currency, metric and source. This guide explains how to read reports; it is not a live revenue feed or investment advice.

Niu Lai box office: ¥63,672,000 · 2026-09-26

At 2026-09-26 13:35:56 UTC+08:00, Maoyan Professional displayed approximately ¥63,672,000 cumulative gross for Niu Lai, on its 53rd release day. The platform rounds this value. This is an observation at capture time, not a full-day or final total. At the same time, September 26 gross was approximately ¥94,400, with 1,761 scheduled screenings and 2.0% occupancy. The day was still in progress.

Record four fields first

For every number, note the date or time, currency, daily or cumulative scope, and whether it comes from the original platform or a report. Without these fields a comparison may be misleading. The timeline retains the scope of earlier reported milestones.

A multiple is not a daily growth rate

Opening-day revenue covers one day; cumulative gross covers many. Dividing the latter by the former yields a multiple, not a continuous daily growth rate. Percentage change is (new minus old) divided by old. Keep multiples and percentages explicitly labelled.

Screenings, admissions and gross differ

Screenings count showings, admissions count visits and gross counts money. More screenings create opportunities but do not alone demonstrate higher occupancy. Ticket prices, city mix and cut-off times can also affect a comparison.

Use historical captures carefully

The sources page identifies a dated secondary record. A capture describes what was visible at that time, not today's live figure or final settlement. A changing live dashboard cannot by itself validate the exact historical number in an old screenshot.

Share the context with the number

Include metric, date and source URL, and identify estimates or secondary reporting. When two reports differ, compare their time and scope before deciding either is wrong. Open the original dashboard again if you need a current figure rather than recycling an old summary.
